Bananas ripen so easily, so here is a couple of ways you can use them up.
*️⃣ Freeze them in portions. If you have a Thermomix (or a blender or food processor) then turn the dial up & blitz them from frozen to make the best banana ice cream 🍦🍌. My kids love it. Frozen bananas are also great for smoothies

.
*️⃣ These nut free balls are a nutritious school friendly snack that can be stored in the freezer too. I love them straight out of the freezer or you can defrost them as needed. And a good little sustainable energy & fibre source for the kids.

.
Ingredients;
- 2 ripe bananas
- 12 dried pitted dates or 6 madjool dates
- 1/2 cup desiccated coconut (plus extra to coat)
- 1 tbs cacao powder
- 1 &1/2 cup of oats
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp cinnamon
.
.
👉 Process until combined. Roll into balls and coat with extra coconut. The mixture may seem a little gluggy, but will set in the freezer well
